Welcome to My Official Website! It's still under construction but isn't it looking really good so far? I've made a lot of improvements on it already and I have a lot more on the way so I hope you come back soon to see the finished product. About meAs I'm setting out to write this I am reminded why most artists have their online short biographies writen by someone else or at least write them like someone else wrote them. Well despite what many other artists do I'm going to write this from me to you. Since I don't much feel like tooting my own little horn I'd like to just tell you a little about myself. By golly! This section is aptly named. My name really is Theron. It's pronounced like Aaron but with a "t" "h" at the begining. It's the same name I've always had and I didn't choose it myself but I wouldn't change it if I had the chance. Just like everyone else I like to think that I am somehow special and if nothing else I at least have my name. In my brief nineteen years of existance I have been fortunate enough to be able to explore many facinating places and experience a variety of cultures. I love to travel and often only feel at home when I'm away. I was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona but about a year and a half ago I moved to Missouri. About my musicThis is the part of this page we've all been waiting for. I'm not sure why I wanted to learn to play the guitar or exactly how I started. I do remember that my dad had an acoustic six-string hanging on the wall of our living room that he got in Italy and that was the one that I started learning on. I remember how hard it was to fret the chords and it was even harder at my size on a full sized acoustic so I learned really slowly then. I kept playing just a little here and there through high school and started getting into it more and more by my senior year. After high school I got really serious about music and started learning all that I could about it. I've learned about the theory behind western music and the physics of sound. I also picked up as many instruments as I possibly could and I can make somthing like music on guitar (acoustic and electric), bass guitar, upright accoustic bass, violin, cello, piano and keyboard, harmonica (diatonic and cromatic), accordian, tennor saxaphone, trumpet, three-valved euphonium, barritone, trombone, sosaphone, and kazoo. My voice is most comfortable in the barritone and bass registers but I can work it up there for most of the tennor range pretty decently. All the parts you hear in my music I wrote, played, and recorded myself. -Theron |
